Double Duty Bridal Shower Invites

Getting married is quite the endeavor.  With all the planning, it’s certainly good to know that the big day is a time for partying.  There’s the Bridal Shower, Bachelorette Party, Rehearsal Dinner, the actual wedding ceremony, and last but not least, the oh so get-your-party-on Reception.  And of course, each require that you invite both the guests and the actual wedding party to each festive occasion;  which is where we come in.  We’d like to help you coordinate each party with the right invite!

In our last post, we discovered that when selecting the color of all your invites, you should select colors that represent you; the beautiful bride and your gorgeous groom.  The color should be a composite of who you are as a couple.  But with that in mind, that color should be the thread throughout all your wedding invites; including the Save-the-Dates, Bridal Shower, Bachelorette Party, Rehearsal Dinner, the actual Wedding Ceremony and of course, the Wedding Reception.
No matter your color selection, you can’t go wrong with this bright invite.  This Shower Me With Love Bridal Shower invitation is perfect for a Spring Wedding!  Especially since we’re in the rainy season.

But take a look at this Dressy Floral beauty!  If you’re having a Tea Themed Bridal Shower, wouldn’t this make a great invite?  And I might add, that if you were to tell your guests to bring their invites to the shower and the invites could do double duty as a coaster. Oh, I’m kidding! Or am I? LOL!

But seriously, what about this stylish Sweet Request cupcake themed Bridal Shower invite?  IKR. Just think.  You could serve cupcakes at the shower…and wait for it…with the same color scheme as this invite! LMBO!  Oh and get this.  Order a few extras, and you could use the invites as streamers throughout the party venue.  Are these Bridal Shower invitations doing double duty or what?

Color Coordinating Your Save-The-Dates

Oftentimes, many brides get stumped when selecting their wedding invitations because they don’t have a clue as to where to start.  Well, one of the best ways to get over that hurdle is to think about color; the color of your dress, décor – the whole 9.  You want to incorporate those colors into your wedding invites to give your guests a pre-wedding feel.

When selecting the color, you should select colors that represent you, the bride and your gorgeous groom.  The color should be a composite of who you are as a couple.   Think of it as the first merging, the first creation of you two, the first thing you create together (unless you already have kids!) Say for instance, you like pink and he likes brown. You can’t stand the colors together but in an effort to practice compromise before the marriage; you may want to consider a pink and brown wedding invite. Here's a few pink and brown Save-The-Date ideas to get you started;

Or maybe your future hubby is a denim guy; t-shirts and jeans and you’re a high-end chic on a banana budget.  Well, since he likes jeans, you can never go wrong with denim and though your quirky yellow often leaves him speechless, here’s a few ideas;

But see here’s the thing.  You want to use the same color swatch throughout the entire wedding process.  That means your Save the Dates, Bridal Shower, Bachelorette Party, Rehearsal Dinner, the actual wedding ceremony, and the Wedding Reception.  If you need help selecting your wedding invite color swatch or to schedule your Private Wedding Invitation Consultation, give our Invitation Consultants a call at (214)381-6367 or visit us at InvitationWarehouse.com! Appointments are booking fast, so call right now to take advantage of our 30% discount on selected wedding invitations. We’ve got the Save-The-Dates down pact; next time, it’s on to the Bridal Shower.

Seal 'n Sends

So what’s going on in the Wonderful World of Wedding Invitations?  Seal 'n Sends!  Seal 'n sends are an easy way to make a dashing impression without the old school assembly required.  They’re quick, easy, and simply adorable!  The way they work is that instead of purchasing a separate RSVP card for your guests, you would simply send a ‘seal-n-send’ which comes with a perforated border.  This perforated border detaches from the formal invite and seamlessly transforms into an RSVP; right before your guests eyes.

In a matter of seconds, your guests will have a chic and simple RSVP card and you avoided having to pay for extra envelopes. The way that it use to work is that you purchased a separate RSVP card which oftentimes made the envelope seem a little bulky.  Not to mentioned with the added envelope came with additional postage fees. These all new seal 'n sends are quick, easy and quite frankly less expensive.

Take a look at a few to get an idea of how they work;

This tailored damask design includes invitation verse, respond verse, printed return addresses and three clear round seals.  And because you’re an old fashioned, but youthful bride – it also has thermo-graphed or raised ink to give it that elegant look for less.

And because vintage rose has made a big come back, this seal 'n send is perfect for the whimsical bride.
And wait!  You have got to check out this Rustic Charm Seal 'n Send!  Not only does it come with invites, but you can purchase the entire ensemble which includes Wedding Announcements, Map Cards, Enclosure Cards, Informal Notes, Menu Cards, Reception and Thank You Notes.

 I don’t even think the Transformers™ can transform as fast as these seal 'n sends!  So why not get in on what's trending in the Invitation World and purchase some seal 'n sends!  Visit invitationwarehouse.com today!

So What Is Invitation Warehouse?

Staci Sweet, Invitation Warehouse Contributor/Blogger

I know you’ve read our blog posts and saw the gorgeous wedding invitations that we post daily on our Facebook and Twitter Fan Pages; but do you know who we are?

Credit: MoniqueStoner.com
Invitation Warehouse™ is a minority woman owned family business, ran by retired City of Dallas employee, Lois Lane.  After working as a Civil Servant for the City of Dallas, Mrs. Lane decided to retire after thirty-three years of faithful and recognized service.  While raising two daughters, one a Stanford grad and the other holding a B.A. in Business Administration, she had to think of creative ways to supplement her income and as a result, Invitation Warehouse was birthed!
What started as a side hustle has turned into a twelve-year-old, award winning, Limited Liability Corporation where she uses her love for helping others to provide Private Wedding Invitation Consulting for hundreds of brides across the U.S. And it’s not too late for you to be a part of our story!  We want you to become a part of the IW Wedding Family.  It would be our distinct and absolute pleasure to walk you through the Wedding Invitation SelectionProcess.  It would be a privilege to show you how to make your invitation much more than a piece of stationery but an entry way into the hottest wedding of the year!
And remember, when you purchase your wedding invitations from Invitation Warehouse, you’re supporting a small, family-owned business.  Your purchase not only helps you; but it helps our economy.  Who knew that wedding invitations were so important?  IKR? On behalf of Invitation Warehouse, thank you for your business! Visit invitationwarehouse.com!
