It’s that time of the year! Seems like only last month we were ringing in the New Year remembering Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve for 2013; but it’s August and Thanksgiving is less than ninety (90) days away; and oh, let’s not even think about Christmas. Yep, it’s only four months away; yikes! But this year, you want to try something different. Do what you’ve repeatedly vowed to do; but have yet to achieve – the oh, so grueling task of selecting and actually mailing your greeting cards.
Yes ladies and gentlemen, we know it’s a hard task to accomplish but with the help of our resident blogger, we’ll give you some tips on how to make this seemingly daunting task; one less thing on your to-do list. So let’s get started.
(1) Go through your contacts and make a list of all those you intend on sending a holiday greeting. Seems simple enough, right? It is because this year instead of making a list on a legal pad, you’re going to go through your email contacts and BCC those you select.
(2) Type a simple message asking for their mailing address. Something like,
‘Hey guys, it’s me. Just wanted your mailing address so I can
put you on the VIP list for one of the hottest commodities out there;
our family’s 2013 greeting card.
RSVP with your address before the end of the day.’

(4) After you’ve placed your order and gotten their address, set up an Excel spreadsheet to log them.
